Default Animated armor for elementals sold as tattoos...

Lets assume they went back to the idea of having distinct profession armor.

For instance with elemental (dont know the technical terms) we had fire, earth, air and water in prophercies.

It would be cool if we were able to have armor which actually mimiced those elements and was animated to a small degree.

Example....

Pryo armor would engulf the elemental in something which looked alot like the human torch (fantastic four style).

Airo (*shrugs*) would engulf the elemental in something which looks alot like gusts of wind moving around them, while they wore a blueish suit.

Earth would look alot like The Thing (fantasic four style), but alot slimmer.

Water would engulf the player in a suit of ice, with transparency and shinning.

The armor would be bought in the same fashion as tattoos, and be displayed as symbols at the armor trader. We know they can animate armor to a degree because elementalists have shimmering head pieces that spin around their heads or floating jewls.

Obviously im not suggesting this be just for elementals. Other professions could have this too, but its about time that elementals had some really cool armor and this seems a good way to do it.

NOTE:

This wouldnt have to work using the prophercies system. We could use the factions and NF system of having identical armor for professions, but still have them be animated in some fashion.

But I just think the idea of having human torches or "things" walking around is cool.

I personally think the ideas for the armor are lame just because I hated Fantastic Four LOL.
But I do like the idea in general.

I'd actually like to see a Warrior armor that looks like it was fashioned partly from ice.

As for els (and don't forget rangers), yeah that idea could work too. However I'd like the condition that your visual stats be linked to one of the 4 basic el inherants (+10 vs elements, +10 vs 1 specific element).

I like that idea, as for the new armor, make it cost and i am cool with it. this sounds like 15k armor all the way.

New sin armor that actually looks good and not like my sin was molested by a ginsu salesman. Note to anet, giant blades on armor while may look nice would cut the crap out of the poor idiot wearing them. An assassin would go for useful before flashy I think.

QFT. I don't mind some of the armors having blades on their arms, but Anet is taking it a bit too far, particularly with NF.

I dont mind which profession it was for. We could even have a trend where all armor from a certain armor crafter had an ice or fire.

Opposing sides, one lives in snow, the other in desert kinda thing.

But they would all look different for each profession.

Having it as 15k armor is probably a better idea. Have the lessser 1.5k armor be partly on fire, or partly iced, or earthed. The 15k stuff would be completely engulfed in flames.

A good way to distinguise between sets.

I can only partly start to imagine how laggy the districts would become.
Nice idea but it would create laggy situations which, I'm sure you'll agree, we don't really need.
